2010 release from the former Clan of Xymox member. This Is Why contains a collection of Nooten's finest new work. Sweet, delicate compositions with a minimalist initial concept, further explored through deep layers of harmonies, which have defined Nooten's music through the years. Music inspired not by pop, but by 16th century baroque music. Nooten insists: "I never listen to any pop music I am afraid. Without wanting to sound presumptuous at all, I cannot write or read music. I am more influenced by the depth and beauty of the simplest Bach fugue than by most modern 'ambient electronica'

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
