This album features violin virtuoso Kees Hlsmann, concertmaster of the Rotterdam Philharmonic, and pianist Matthew Edwards performing "Atlantic Crossing, " the duo version of Peter Scott Lewis' acclaimed "Second Violin Concerto, " originally commissioned and premiered by the Rotterdam Philharmonic. In addition, the CD features the Hiraga/Wyrick/Shapiro Trio, an excellent group from the San Francisco Symphony performing "Rhapsodic Images, " Lewis' highly developed piano trio. This CD was also welcomed with international rave reviews, when it was released on Sept. 28, 2004.
