In the spirit of some of the great bop/beat influenced jazz singers like Mose Allison & Bob Dorough, Northwest legend and former Los Angeles songsmith Paul West presents an album of his very original songs. Featuring bassist Jeff Johnson, the rarely heard Northwest great Mr. Ford Ramsey on piano, and a couple of beautiful arrangements by trombonist Bill Reichenbach with an all-star L.A. big band, "Lucky..." is alternately swingin', whacky, poignant, and always very personal. Originally released in 2000.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
