Nashville Blues artist Patrick Sweany returns after a three-year hiatus to present his new full-length Ancient Noise. Recorded at legendary Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis, TN with Grammy-winning engineer/producer Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margo Price), Ancient Noise encapsulates all of the highlights of Sweany's 18 year career, from the breakneck howl of opening tracks Old Time Ways and Up and Down to the lush piano ballad Country Loving and the organ funk of Get Along, Sweany moves effortlessly between styles, tying it all together with his rich, deep baritone voice and intricate finger-picking guitar style.
Joining Sweany for this landmark record is Ken Coomer (ex-Wilco) on drums, longtime collaborator Ted Pecchio (Susan Tedeschi, Col. Bruce Hampton) on bass, and the legendary Charles Hodges (Al Green) on keys
