In 1979, the backing vocals to Ian Dury's "Reasons to Be Cheerful (Part 3)" raised the musical question: "Why don't you get back into bed?" the eleven songs on Cold Drinks address this conundrum of living and man's responses to it, many of which seem to involve intoxication. Recorded by Chad Clark (Beauty Pill) and TJ Lipple (Aloha), Cold Drinks alternates between noisy folk and crunchy pop with a good helping of reflective lyrics. File between Robyn Hitchcock and Mission of Burma. Touring the East Coast, Midwest and West Coast in late August and early September.
