One of Southern California's most enduring lounge jazz artists, singer/pianist Page Cavanaugh led one of America's most popular recording and performing trios throughout the 1940's and 1950's. Page also appeared with Frank Sinatra during the early days of his trio and often appeared in movies and television. Along with executive producer Michael Cavanaugh (no relation), Page recorded the classic album presented here in 1978 with the help of some of California's most prestigious studio musicians including Earl Palmer (drums); Ernie McDaniel (bass); John Pisano (guitar) and Bob Jung (alto saxophone). Page handles the vocals and piano throughout and executive producer Michael Cavanaugh acts as guest vocalist on "New York State of Mind" and "LA Breakdown." All selections newly re-mastered.
