Paddy was from Donegal, and has long been considered one of the greatest traditional singers in Ireland, with songs in both English and Irish. Examples of both are included on this field recording, for which we are indebted to Diane Hamilton. A superb presentation of the Irish unaccompanied ballad tradition. 13 tracks, originally released in 1963.
