Formed in 1979, P-Model debuted the same year and became a central figure in techno-pop/new wave music under the leadership of Susumu Hirasawa. This album, originally released in 1985 from 'EDGE,' a new label established by ALFA RECORDS (as it was known then), has been reissued as a Blu-spec CD2 with the latest digital remastering. 'KARKADOR' is P-Model's sixth album, defined as 'a new step' and recorded by Susumu Hirasawa (Vocals, Guitar), Rihiko Yokokawa (Bass, Vocals, Violin), Shunichi Miura (Keyboard), and Yasuhiro Araki (Percussion). It stands as a unique work that gives a pop and colorful impression. The album includes the rhythmic title track 'KARKADOR,' which features a significant change in sound with the introduction of violin by new member Rihiko Yokokawa, and 'Cyborg,' a melodious fan favorite. The digital remastering was handled by Yoshinori Sunahara. Track list:1. KARKADOR2. On the Organ-Yama3. Dance Subomp4. Cyborg5. 1778-19856. LEAK7. Oar8. HOURGLASS9. PIPER10. KARCADOR
