The Other Singers consisted of the folk singers Tom Drake and Mike Storm who started out in the bars of San Diego. Tom Drake was born in Canada and spent time as a high school English teacher, played the banjo and guitar and was a friend of the guys in the Kingston Trio in their early days in San Francisco. Mike Storm grew up in California, plays both the 12 string guitar and banjo, has the lower voice of the two and also was known for his painting. Their classic 1963 album presented here, offers a rare glimpse of the unique talents of this once popular duo. All selections newly re-mastered.
