2011 album from the French purveyors of classic, beautifully crafted pop music. On Continental, songwriter Jérôme Didelot fashions guitars, strings, vibraphone and a contingent of vintage electronics (Moog, Farfisa and Stylophone) into lush harmonies and evocative instrumentals while fashioning a lyrical world: Continental is an imaginary country, torn by tradition and nationalism and in decline, somewhere in the heart of Europe. With lyrics entirely in English this time around, the one exception being the trilingual title track, sung in English, French and German, Continental is an ideal entry point into the pleasure that is Orwell.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
