Orquesta Sublime was founded in Cuba in 1956 by flautist Melquiades Fundora as a Charanga orchestra and has survived in the hearts of Cuban music fans as one of the very best practitioners of the style. Their wonderfully pure, organic recordings have been prized by collectors of Cuban music all over the world. The classic album, "Sabroso Como El Guarapo" was recorded in the early 1960's and their first album to be distributed in the US. All selections newly re-mastered.
