"Que Siga La Pachanga" was one of the first albums recorded by the wonderful Cuban orchestra known as Sublime that was distributed in the US following the US embargo of 1959. The group was founded in Cuba in 1956 by flautist Melquiades Fundora as a Charanga orchestra and have survived in the hearts of Cuban music fans as one of the very best practitioners of the style, whose classic sound bridges the gap between Son and later styles leading up to Salsa. Their wonderfully pure, organic recordings have been prized by collectors of Cuban music all over the world. Includes fan favorites "Te Pica el Gallo," "No Pierdas Tiempo" and much more. All selections newly remastered.
