"A Bailar Boogaloo Con La Sublime" was one of the first albums recorded by the wonderful Cuban orchestra known as Sublime that was distributed in the US following the US embargo of 1959. The group was founded in Cuba in 1956 by flautist Melquiades Fundora as a Charanga orchestra and have survived in the hearts of Cuban music fans as one of the very best practitioners of the style. Their wonderfully pure, organic recordings have been prized by collectors of Cuban music all over the world. Includes fan favorites "Vamos a Bailar Charanga," a wonderful reading of Maria Teresa Vera's classic "Viente Aos" and much more. All selections newly remastered.
