Taken from Lower East Side Part 1 & 2, Onyx Collective release a 7" featuring the singles "Fruit Stand" & "Snake Charmer." The jazz collective lead by Isaiah Barr have represented the downtown NYC scene for years. They've recently collaborated with the likes of Nick Hakim, and David Byrne in addition to performing with Ibeyi and many others. They display a level of diversity and improvisation rarely found in modern music. Julian Schnabel provided the artwork for the digital EP's.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
