The Mexican children's choir, Ninos Cantores de Morelia had it's origins in the 18th Century when Michoacán's twentieth Bishop founded the first Music Conservatory of the Americas in what is today Morelia. In 1944, Ninos Cantores de Morelia was founded in that institution by the renowned Michoacano composer, Bernal Jimenez. The choir made their first visit to the United States in 1954 and performed in over fifty cities. Over the years the choir has been conducted by both Mexican and foreign musicians of great repute. Presented here is the holiday classic album from the "little boys with the big music" that captured the hearts of listeners in the Americas and around the world - newly remastered and available in the digital domain.
