The great Cuban percussionist Nelson Padron, aside from reaching millions of people on the nationally syndicated "Sabado Gigante" for the past twenty years, has been one of the most in demand session drummers who has played on countless sessions ranging from classic rock to Latin jazz. Joining him on this recording is the legendary Paquito Hechavarria, famous for his piano riffs on Gloria Estefan's "Conga" and also a as a session player who has added his unique brand of Afro-Cuban style piano to many recordings. The two masters' collaboration recorded in the mid 1970's in Miami, serves as an example of some of the most explosive Latin jazz ever recorded. All selections newly re-mastered.
