2015 debut album by this band fronted by Andrew Ranken, who is best-known as the drummer and occasional vocalist with The Pogues. Reach Out, Hold On showcases the band's tight, danceable, driving R&B, blues, rock 'n' roll and country sound. Recorded at the Cow Shed studios - London's equivalent to Muscle Shoals - Reach Out, Hold On delivers the band's distinctive live stripped-down feel. The album features both original tracks - the soulful passionate title track is the stand-out - and rare and classic covers. This band is the real thing, offering the sound of the '60s blues boom but with nothing 'retro' about it.
