On the surface MNNQNS might resemble a rock band: their music is stuffed with guitars that explode in frenzied bursts as pounding drums collide with intense vocals, all of which is carried forward with youthful spunk and propulsive energy. Yet plunge beneath that surface layer and MNNQNS are exploring guitar music with much more depth and breadth than most. The album is a rare record that manages to be both fiery and textural. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
