A talented vocal quintet that hailed from Jersey City, New Jersey, Mixed Company were a unique collection of mixed nationalities, male and female, who came together to create a vibe that mixed elements of R&B, Rock and Doo-Wop into a sound all their own. On an extremely rare 45 RPM single, recorded for the Jersey City based Catamount Records label in the late 1970s, this dynamic group took on the Leiber and Stoller classic "Kansas City" on the A-side and Barbara Mason's most well-known 1965 hit "Yes, I'm Ready, on the flip. This rare classic has been newly remastered and finally made available in the digital domain.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
