The follow-up to 2015's Black Lines, Sunnyland is Mayday Parade's sixth studio long-player and their first outing for Rise Records. The band utilized the talents of a host of different producers during the 13-track album's creation, including John Feldmann (blink-182, 5 Seconds of Summer), Howard Benson (3 Doors Down, My Chemical Romance), and Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, the latter two of whom had worked with the band on previous records. Taking its name from a spooky abandoned hospital in Tallahassee, Sunnyland includes the singles "Piece of Your Heart" and "It's Hard to Be Religious When Certain People Are Never Incinerated by Bolts of Lightning." ~ James Christopher Monger
