Since winning the 2021 Song Prize at the Cardiff Singer of the World competition, South African Masabane Cecilia has been selected as a BBC New Generation Artist, and awarded the 2024 Herbert von Karajan prize. She is in-demand with the world's major orchestras, opera houses and conductors. Her debut album, which includes music from her homeland, gospels and spirituals, lieder and chanson, and two operatic works, showcases her extraordinary voice and versatility. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
