Detroit native Marv Johnson held the rare distinction of performing on the first record ever to be issued from what would become the Motown label. His career was marked by many major successes with hit singles in the US, Australia and the UK. In the late 80's he joined the ranks of London based Motorcity Records, whose aim was to release albums by former Motown artists. This compilation focuses on the best of those recordings. All tracks have been newly remastered.
