You get four different Mardi Gras Indian bands playing long and funky versions of some traditional songs and likely a few you don't have elsewhere. These arrangements and performances are more like you would hear on the street and not cut down to make singles for radio play. Excellent liner notes offer a history of the bands and the songs. Great party music any time of the year. If this doesn't make you feel good, you might be dead!

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
