Malamorte – Omen 2 Music CD

"True Heavy Metal Leaders Malamorte return with their terrifying 9th album & the Horror-Metal Spectacle of 2026! Following the success of the critically acclaimed horror-metal masterpiece "Omen", Italian occult metal masters Malamorte once again descend into the cursed mythology of the legendary Omen saga with the dark and cinematic new album "Omen II"! Led by Italian metal icon Alessandro Nunziati, Malamorte has become one of the most distinctive forces in modern horror metal, blending True Heavy Metal, Thrash and Occult Rock into a uniquely sinister and theatrical sound. Through nine albums of crushing riffs, occult atmosphere and horror-inspired storytelling, the band continues to push deeper into epic darkness. Serving as the direct successor to 2022's "Omen", the new album is inspired by the 1978 cult horror classic "Damien: Omen II". Continuing the apocalyptic storyline established on it's predecessor, "Omen II" follows the rise of Damien Thorn as he fully embraces his destiny as the Antichrist. More than simply a tribute, "Omen II" functions as a complete horror-metal soundtrack to the film itself, capturing it's paranoia, violence and apocalyptic atmosphere through massive riffs, haunting melodies and cinematic tension. Expanding upon the sound of it's predecessor, "Omen II" delivers darker atmospheres, sharper songwriting and some of Malamorte's most memorable choruses to date. Influences ranging from King Diamond, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and Death SS remain ever-present, yet the sound is unmistakably Malamorte - dark, catchy, epic and malevolent.
