Best known for his 1975 smash "Love Won't Let Me Wait" which topped the Billboard R&B Chart, Richmond, Virginia's Major Harris enjoyed a long and distinguished career that included both solo success and stops in groups like The Delfonics, where he took over for Randy Cain, The Charmers, The Teenagers, the Jarmels, and Nat Turner's Rebellion. Here, Harris is backed by the members of the group INGRAM on this special release of tracks recorded before his untimely passing in 2012. The release also features guest appearances by saxophonist Sam Peake on "I Love You" and vocalist Cherrill Rae joins Major for a sizzling duet on the Spinners classic "I'll Be Around."

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
