A former member of the iconic soul group the Delfonics, vocalist Major Harris left the group to go solo in 1974. a cousin of famed Philadelphia record producer Norman Harris, Major Harris went on to become one of the defining voices of Philly Soul and racked up a string of R&B hits including the top ten 1975 R&B single "Love Won't Let Me Wait." in 1984 Harris recorded the album "I Believe in Love" with legendary Philly Soul producer Butch Ingram at the helm and the first family of Philly Soul, the Ingram Family, providing the instrumental backup for the album. All selections newly re-mastered.
