Artist/musician Tom Maxwell (The Blue Hawaiians) and filmmaker/guitarist Steve Denny present a progressive contemporary instrumental exploration drawing upon many influences including rock, classical, jazz, avant garde, ambient, Middle Eastern and trance. Exquisitely recorded and produced, this CD is the result of a process of recording "free-form" sessions and assembling them into a coherent musical narrative. Originally designed as a snapshot of a creative moment, the project evolved to a level that can be compared to Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon." Maxwell and Denny have supplied improvised musical accompaniment for world renowned fine artist Norton Wisdom at exhibitions in Southern California.
