Lysten - Reflect Music CD

A solo piano EP to slow down, capture silence and return to the essentials. In a world saturated with images, sounds and constant connections, Lysten develops the need to take the opposite approach by leaving more room for silence. With 'REFLECT', his new EP to be released in October 2025, the French electronic artist unveils a work that is both minimalist and deeply human: five solo piano pieces, punctuated by light modular breaths, like a breath suspended between two eras. Conceived as a mental pause, 'Reflect' explores the need to withdraw, to cut off the incessant flow of digital technology in order to rediscover a direct connection with oneself, with reality, with the slowness of things. "I needed a moment of silence before breathing new life into electronic music. This EP is an intimate interlude - a place where my world stops running. "Seemingly far removed from his previous electronic productions, this project reveals a more stripped-down, almost naked facet of Lysten's universe. After sharing the stage with Grandbrothers and French79, he has turned his childhood piano into a refuge, an inner voice; a work where electronics, reduced to simple analogue textures, merely brush against the harmonies to give new depth to it's 88 keys.Lysten will share the stage with Thylacine on his european tour.
