Best known for his recordings with a young Jimi Hendrix, sax man and vocalist Lonnie Youngblood was known as the "Prince of Harlem" to residents of uptown Manhattan during the heyday of the 1960's. a first-rate R&B man in his own right, Youngblood teamed up with legendary soul producer George Kerr to record this solo release in 1981. Joining Youngblood's sax and vocals on the classic recording are Lou Toby (keyboards, percussion, synthesizers); Ramona Campbell (background vocals); Sharon McCants (background vocals) and Vendetta Jackson (background vocals). All selections newly re-mastered.
