Alexandre Stellio was a clarinetist and composer from Martinique, and he inherited the traditions of Creole carnival. He became an emblematic musician, and laid the foundations for the biguine style that originated on his island in the French Caribbean. This 3-album set is a perfectly curated overview of his recordings. The release also includes testimonials from Mr. Gaston Monnerville, former president of the Senate and Mrs. Adela Stellio, Alexandre's widow.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
