One of the 1940's top swing jazz bandleaders, trumpeter Les Elgart later defined the "easy listening" sound of the mid 1950's through the mid 1960's. On this rare album, originally released in 1979, Les and the band cover a nice selection of standards including hit dance tune "Alley Cat," Brazil" and pop standards of the 1930's and 1940's. All selections have been newly remastered.
