27 tracks from this rarely-heard Western Swinger! Leon's Lone Star Cowboys were perhaps the jazziest of all the Western Swing bands, trading fiddle and clarinet leads, and Leon himself-as the two rare, early-'30s tracks included here show-was something of a Jimmie Rodgers devotee. Also here are Leon's landmark, 1933 recordings of Deep Elm Blues and Just Because with the Shelton Brothers hot!
