A New York-based composer and rock and soul music producer with Georgia roots, Johnny Brantley wrote and produced tunes for The Isley Brothers, Varetta Dillard, Lee Moses, Towanda Barnes, Bobby Brown, The Ohio Players, Jimmy Castor, Lou Donaldon, Jimi Hendrix... The list goes on and on and stretches from the late 1950's to the 2000's. Presented here is one of his many productions - a rare funk single he wrote and produced for the one-off group dubbed Legend, featuring vocalists Tony Baxter and Hugh Harris. Originally released in 1980, "Funk Invasion" b/w "A Piece Of Your World" is presented here newly remastered and finally available in the digital domain. .

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
