Distant Early Warning is the debut solo album by Australian drummer, percussionist and composer Laurence Pike. Originally conceived as a technological and spiritual jazz suite for drums, Distant Early Warning is a series of solo performances for kit and sampler recorded live in a single day. For a long time Ive been feeling theres a central part of my musical voice that didnt have an outlet, Pike says. So this album is definitely a product of inner necessity.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
