Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a newly re-mastered release of the acclaimed 1975 rock version of composer Sergei Prokofiev's famous work 'Pete And The Wolf'. Originally devised by Jack Lancaster and Robin Lumley, this imaginative adaption of Peter And The Wolf story was originally conceived as an animated film but soon evolved into a rock album featuring some of the most acclaimed musicians of the era. Joining Lancaster and Lumley were Viv Stanshall (assuming the role of narrator) and musicians such as a Manfred Mann, Gary Brooker, Chris Spedding, Gary Moore, Stephane Grappelli, Brian Eno, Keith Tippett, Jon Hiseman, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, Cozy Powell, Alvin Lee and Julie Tippett.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
