Born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1949, Lamont Butler is the son of well-known gospel, blues and R&B singer and pianist Clifford Butler Sr. He cut his teeth with groups such as The Enterprise, The Dynamics and The New Beginnings, eventually going solo with Lamont Butler and The Spirit of Truth. His only official album release, It's Time For A Change, has been very popular with record collectors around the world. Miles Away Records are pleased to be working with Lamont for this long overdue album reissue. It was remastered by Nick Robbins at Sound Mastering and features an in-depth sleeve.
