Kotetsu, an artist who exudes a deep respect for jazz, R&B and blues, and exudes a new generation of music that transcends borders, has finally released his long-awaited new album!Kotetsu, an artist who has attracted attention for his deep respect for Jazz, R&B, and Blues and his innovative musical style, will release his long-awaited solo album 'ECLIPSE' on December 25, 2024. After graduating from the Jazz Course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and Berklee College of Music in the United States, Kotetsu has been active both in Japan and abroad, captivating many listeners with his outstanding scat technique and unique phrasing.Kotetsu is well versed in all aspects of Black Music, and his unique vocal style has been highly praised not only in Japan but also on stages around the world. His songs were featured in the film 'Andalusia' starring Yuji Oda in 2011 and 'Galileo: Midsummer's Equation' starring Masaharu Fukuyama in 2013, and moved many people with his singing voice.He has also won numerous competitions, including first place in the Tokyo division of the improvisation contest hosted by jazz pianist Kuriyama Koto in 2011 and third place in the Osaka Asian Dreams Jazz Competition 2013 hosted by the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz. His versatility is also reflected in his work as a studio musician and his experience as a member of the male jazz a capella unit HamojiN. Furthermore, this year he will be the first chorus member of official HIGE DANDISM, showing just how far his musical talents have expanded.This new album, 'ECLIPSE, ' contains six songs that condense Kotetsu's deep musical knowledge and expressiveness.
