The Jewish ghetto in Prague was a lively, colorful center for Jewish life in central Europe. Music and song are deeply embedded in the culture, and are part not only of religious practice, but of every day life as well. This is a collection of mostly Yiddish folk songs. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
