Captured live in 1948, legendary jazz trombonist and bandleader Edward "Kid" Ory is featured here along with an all star band consisting of Kid Ory (trombone); Andy Blakeney (trumpet); Bud Scott (guitar); Minor Hall (drums); Joe Darensbourg (clarinet); Ed Garland (bass) and Buster Wilson (piano) performing a classic set of New Orleans standards including "Mahogany Hall Stomp," "Oh, Didn't He Ramble," "Dippermouth Blues" and more. All selections newly remastered.
