The famous Spanish singer Juan Legido, known as "El Gitano Senorin" emigrated to Havana, Cuba and became featured vocalist in the famous orchestra "Los Churumbeles de Espana". His unmistakable voice gained him international fame and he was extremely popular all over South America and Europe. He starred in Mexican films in the early 50's and recorded 10 albums between 1950 and 1965 that sold over 10 million copies. "El Emigrante" marks Legido's years in Miami following the Cuban embargo and was recorded at the famed Criteria Studios in Miami in the early 1970's. This rare album, highly prized among collectors of contemporary Spanish music, is finally available in the digital domain. All selections newly remastered.
