Although Johnny J is known as New Orleans' premier Rockabilly/R&B/Roots rocker, Make It All Worth Wild showcases a different side as a long-standing performer and recording artist. The songs contained in this work were recorded in the early 2000's and were recently remastered. Several of these tracks adhere to the trademark sound of Johnny and his band "I'm a Wino for Ya Baby," "Good for You," "Funny." Also included are forays into cosmic balladeering and Worldbeat type grooves that should be a pleasant surprise for Johnny J's worldwide fan base. Along with his topnotch touring band over the years, Johnny J has worked with Louisiana legends Dale "Suzie Q" Hawkins, Joe "Ducktails" Clay and has also backed up Carl Perkins, Wanda Jackson, Roland Stone and Bo Diddley. He has recorded with producers Alex Chilton (the Box Tops, Big Star) and Ben Keith (Jewel, Neil Young).
