Recorded in 1958 for the Tops label, Johnny Desmond Swings is a loose and laid-back session turned elusive and sought-after jazz gem that shows this boyhood big band singer evolve into a fully-fledged jazz man with the character and poise of young Dean Martin Remastered for 2022 and including the hits 'I Can't Get Started' and 'That Old Devil Moon', this is a consciously laid back and relaxed album that highlights Desmond's natural, unforced vocal style that is appreciated and understood as much today as was upon it's initial release.
