This is the first CD after a long time with john primers own band-the Real Deal Blues Band !!! The Band members are all great blues-artists- Melvin Smith on bass played with both Koko Taylor and Lurrie Bell, Bill Lupkin on harmonica played with all great artist in Chicago and Lenny Media on drums who played with the magic man- Magic Slim. There is a mix of traditional blues songs-like Call Me John Primer or How Many More Years and self-penned primer-songs! But every song has he spirit from a blues master-JOHN PRIMER!! He is a great entertainer, singer and guitar-player. The CD is a live recording from May 2015 and a must for every real blues-fan!!
