Almost 3 years after releasing his debut album and playing many shows in the Boston area, singer/songwriter John Copeland returns with an incredibly ambitious follow up that is bigger and bolder in every way. With the help of a backing band of talented musicians, Copeland crafts songs of identity development, troubled relationships, taking risks, and finding out what really matters in life on a much grander scale than it's predecessor. Genre-skipping from 90's alternative rock to folk/country to soul to 1960's jangle, Copeland connects the songs with common themes and thinking-person lyrics. Multiple harmonies and layered instrumentation round out the overall sound to make the music as dynamic as the lyrics. The result is thoughtful, introspective, and, most importantly, pleasantly rocking throughout.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
