Grooving, hard-swinging Bebop with a rare performance with, at the time, young New York City Alto Saxophonist Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno, of Illinois Jacquet and Panana Francis fame, performing live at The Cornerstone Jazz Pub in Metuchen, NJ. The significance of this rare recording is the presence of the late great Herman Foster, blind pianist of Lou Donaldson fame, along with one of the greatest drummers of all time, the great Joe Dukes, also a Donaldson alumnus, as well as being part of the great organist Jack McDuff's most well known group of the 1960s. This is an inspired set that tells a story from start to finish; a rare gem!
