Jazz pianist Jodie Christian is a Chicago legend. Performing nationally and internationally since 1948, he has led his own groups and performed with Lester Young, Johnny Griffin, Coleman Hawkins, Gene Ammons, Sonny Stitt, Eddie Harris, Sonny Rollins, Roscoe Mitchell, and Jack DeJohnette. Originally released in 1994 this CD features Roscoe Mitchell, Art Porter, Paul McKeeLarry Gray, Ernie Adams, Vincent Davis, George Hughes, & special guest vocalist Francine Griffin. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
