Joan Onwodi - Blessed Music CD

Currently Joan Onwodi is from Nigeria in West Africa, but she currently lives in the United States. At present, she is in college studying music. Joan will be releasing her first gospel album titled "Blessed" in March 2007. Early Musical Beginning Music has been an integral part of Joan's life since childhood. She began singing at the age of 11, and has performed at numerous special events since then. As a teenager, Joan performed at several celebrations, some of which include weddings, birthday parties, and as a guest psalmist at various churches in Nigeria. Music and Ministry Joan Onwodi gave her life to Jesus Christ at the age of 11, and has remained faithful to God since then. She believes that she has given her life to Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice. Joan is currently a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, where she serves as a worker in the choir department. Joan ministers at several gatherings as a soloist and also with the church choir. Joan loves God and has a genuine heart of worship towards God. Her goal in ministry is to see everyone worship God with sincere hearts, and to also worship Him in spirit and in truth. She prays that as she sings, wounded and broken hearts will be healed and hearts will be turned back to our lord Jesus Christ. Joan prays that as people worship God, "they will worship Him because of who He is, and not for what they can get from Him."
