UK-born DJ, producer and label boss Jimpster debuts on cult label Nu Groove in 2025 with a fresh set of four originals, 'The Phoenix' EP. Across this four-track collection, Jimpster showcases over two decades of production expertise, starting with a title track that showcases a club-ready sound built for the underground; 'The Phoenix' builds a tight groove through the ebb and flow of overlapping rhythmic patterns. What follows is 'Lightening In Me' featuring vocals from East London's Oliver Night, an electronic artist and songwriter whose work has been supported by the likes of tastemakers Kerri Chandler, Gilles Peterson and Honey Dijon.
