One of the great singing cowboys originally discovered by Gene Autry, Jimmy Wakely became one of the most popular western singers of the late 1940's as well as starring in several cowboy movies, and by 1962 had sold over 15 million records. In the mid-1960's he started his own record label and released albums by country stars Johnny Bond, Noel Boggs and others. Presented here is a collection of some of Jimmy's most popular tunes including "Ghost Riders in the Sky," "Tennessee Waltz" and "Saddle Pals." All selections newly remastered.
