Probably the most successful R&B crossover artist of the 1950's, bluesman Jimmy Reed's hypnotic guitar patterns, wailing harmonica and laid back singing style attracted a more mainstream audience than previous blues greats. One of the first electric blues artists, Reed was a main inspiration for early rock n' rollers and influenced a wide range of artists from the Beatles to the Rolling Stones. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
